The upper of the Adidas Flashback Primeknit embraces the foot entirely for a snug fit. This low-profile pair also has a sock-like fit collar to further maximize the range of motion. The lace up front fastening is present, which allows a personalized fit. It has a pull-tab on the heel for easiness in taking on this pair. The EVA midsole is present to enhance the comfort of this pair. The Adidas Flashback Primeknit is exclusively offered in women’s sizes from 5 to 12 US.

The Adidas Flashback Primeknit has a mixture of 70s running heritage and modern style. The modern detailing like the Primeknit upper gives a breathable and flexible textured look.  The midsole is slightly thick with sawtooth like outsole that echoes the features of the classic Dragon sneaker. The sock-like fit with mesh lining adds to the comfortable feel. Wearers like using this with their joggers, jeans and shorts while some even wear this with their dresses to some spunk on their girly look. The Flashback Primeknit will definitely allow its wearers to be sleek and sporty at the same time.

The Adidas Flashback Primeknit has a very striking serrated outsole. This design was originally seen in the 70’s Dragon in which the Flashback was derived. This kind of outsole is helpful in enhancing the ground grip. Another notable feature is the TPU-welded 3-Stripe branding across its side panels. This design further adds modern style and maintains the sleek profile.

In 1991, Adidas created a sub-brand they called the Adidas Originals. This heritage line carries this slogan “Once Innovative, Now Classic, Always Authentic” when it was launched. They directed at re-imagining the performance sneakers into a modernized lifestyle shoe version. They started their massive campaign in 2008.

One of the classic revivals of the Originals is the Flashback iteration. It was inspired by the 70s running shoe named Dragon. The Dragon was released shortly before Adi’s death in 1978.  It has been said that the Dragon is the most overlooked classics in the Adidas. Compared to the other classic Adidas models, the Dragon is flatter and lighter. It showcases the vintage mark of Adidas, the classic 3-Stripe.

The Flashback was originally released in the 70s as a running shoe and was re-launched as a lifestyle pair. The breathable and light mesh upper allows it to be used as a casual street wear. Not long after, a much lighter version was released using the far modern tech of the Adidas. The Flashback Primeknit model carries the same specs of the prior variety except for the Primeknit upper.

The Flashback Primeknit is very versatile, comfortable and an innovative version. It showcases a sock-like fit through the flexible and very technical fabric Primeknit upper, the iconic serrated rubber outsole and the striking signature 3-Stripe branding.

  • The Trefoil branding can found on the heel counter, insole and rubber outsole.
  • The Adidas Flashback Primeknit has a welded TPU iconic 3-stripe design on the sides.
  • The insole is removable and an Ortholite footbed.
