Updates to Adidas Element V
- The Adidas Element V is a breathable running shoe that is also lightweight all over, thanks to its stretchable mesh upper and Cloudfoam midsole. This shoe is designed for neutral pronators or runners who have high arches.
- It has an ultra-breathable mesh upper that makes it suitable for running, especially during warm weather, as the material guarantees ventilation and air circulation to keep the foot feeling fresh and dry.
- The sole unit tandem of Cloudfoam and AdiWear® supplies an adequate amount of cushioning and support. The flexible nature of the sole unit allows the runner to go on long distances without worries, while its premium feel provides a luxurious sensation while worn.
Adidas Element V size and fit
The Adidas Element V provides an accurate fit according to the wearer’s usual size preference. It has an anatomical foot shape that allows the width to be precise as well. The Element V is specially designed for women, and it is available in medium width.
The AdiWear® rubber is one of Adidas’ proprietary outsole materials that is dedicated to bringing traction and protection to the und\erfoot. It has a durable characteristic that effectively shields the foot from abrasion and impact that might cause pain.
In the Element V, the AdiWear® has a layout that takes the form of blocks in a checkered formation, which makes it look similar to the usual appearance of StretchWeb rubber, another outsole material from Adidas. Such a design allows for an even distribution of shock, preventing tension-related pain.
The Cloudfoam material is made from a particular compound of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA). The result is a midsole that provides a superb instep comfort, especially in the areas where it is most needed, such as the heel and the arch.
The Cloudfoam structure features a heel pad that gives an additional layer of underfoot cushioning. This material makes the Adidas Element V comfortable enough that it eliminates the need for extra inserts or other accessories.
On top of the Cloudfoam midsole is an Ortholite® sock liner that offers an elevated level of comfort and performance. Because of its antimicrobial property, the Ortholite® insole also controls odor and bacteria buildup, which is usually caused by moisture.
An air mesh upper gives the Adidas Element V a breathable and lightweight coverage. It also has a stretchable quality, which allows the shoe to adapt to the shape of the runner’s foot and provide a customized fit.
The numerous holes in the air mesh guarantee air circulation not only in an in-and-out fashion but also around the foot. It finishes off as a minimized-seam construction, with the aim of reducing skin irritation and discomfort.
The rearfoot and tongue have fabric pull-tabs, both of which work as an aid that promotes an effortless way of wearing and taking off the Adidas Element V.
