The Adidas Crazy BYW LVL x Pharrell Williams is a unisex shoe that’s available in men’s sizes. The guys can choose from a size range of 3.5 to 18 while ladies should go one size down from their standard shoe size. This sneaker is said to fit bigger than normal shoe sizes hence reviewers recommended going down half a size to one full size.

The vibrant colors coupled with the funky midsole design displays an ineludible aesthetic that grabs people’s attention. It successfully fuses its predecessor’s retro yet fashion-forward style and today’s contemporary sock-like trend. The shoe’s powerful visual expression combines textures and hues that add rich visual layers, which most consumers found exciting and stylish.

With this sneaker’s eye-catching look, consumers tend to pair it with shorts and cropped trousers to show off its mid-top profile and avoid making the sneaker look busier than it already is. Try popping on a dad hat, a vintage shirt, shorts, and visible socks for that effortlessly cool outfit.

With a fashion-forward style as the Adidas Crazy BYW LVL x Pharrell Williams almost every angle presents one striking feature. For starters, the shoe's upper is crafted from the brand's lightweight and breathable technology called the Primeknit, and it's bathed in contrasting colors for added style. The word Ambition is vertically placed on the upper with the lace-up system right on top of it.

The insoles display Pharrell's signature design of a foot that gives an ode to reflexology. Last but not the least, all these sit atop a rubber sole equipped with Boost midsole pods for excellent comfort and cushioning.

Before becoming known as the Adidas Crazy, this shoe was initially called the Adidas KB8. It is a sneaker made for playing hoops and also Kobe Bryant's first-ever signature shoe. Fresh out of high school Bryant instantly made an impact on the basketball sneaker world making the big brands take notice. In 1996, the then-rookie started out as the new face of Adidas' basketball category specifically the Feet You Wear line.

Frampton Ellis developed the Feet You Wear (FYW) technology, and it allows the shoe to act as the extension of the feet by following the wearers' natural feet movement. In 1997, Bryant finally launched his first signature shoe called the KB8, which utilized the FYW technology. The KB8 is still in heavy rotation in the sneaker scene today with a rebranded name called the Adidas Crazy 8.

In 2018, Adidas introduced the Crazy BYW (Boost You Wear), which is a play at the FYW line, and instead of the previous technology the BYW range now utilizes the brand's latest cushioning technology called Boost. Taking notice of the Crazy BYW's funky and unique design, hip-hop superstar and producer Pharrell Williams decided to put a premium spin on the shoe by using Primeknit for its upper and applying his fun and fashion-forward style on it. The Adidas Crazy BYW LVL x Pharrell Williams is available in two colorways: Chalk Pink s18 / FTWR White / Core Black and Core Black / FTWR White / Solar Pink.
