Hailed for the amount of comfort, durability, and fit, it’s no wonder it is still relevant and a favorite even after its initial release in 1982. Although it has a slightly expensive price tag, the pair is well worth those few extra greens given the benefits that these boots bring. Whether you are a beginner or a professional football player, these cleats are a must-try.

If you're one of those people that struggles to find the proper fit and just don't find soccer shoes comfortable, the Copa Mundial is the solution to all your problems. It is the one shoe on the market that truly will fit all foot types and in terms of comfort, it really is again the industry standard in my opinion.

The Copa Mundial is one of those shoes that every serious soccer player should give a try, just to see what you’re missing out on. So many people ask me, what shoe is most comfortable? When it comes to comfort, fit and overall quality, it is hard to argue against the Copa. I would be very curious to see how many professional players would still be wearing the Copa if endorsement deals weren’t around, because I bet that it would surprise you at how many players would choose to wear this classic boot. If you want what many consider to be the best ever, than I would strongly recommend trying out a pair of Adidas Copa Mundials.

We've been selling Copas for as long as we have been doing business with Adidas and off the top of my head, in the years that I've been here I cannot remember one time when someone brought a pair of Copa Mundials back to me said "I need my money back." , because it is defect-free.

Overall, if you’re on a slightly lower budget, and you’d like to lace up in something with a leather upper, or something with a classic look and feel to it, the adidas Copa Mundial is honestly one of your best options. You can find these for less than $120 pretty regularly, and that is just an incredible value.

Classic and stylish while being simple is the best way to describe these shoes. But these cleats are anything but ordinary.

Features of the Adidas Copa Mundial Firm Ground

  • There has not been a lot of updates in terms of the technology put into the Adidas Copa Mundial FG since it was released. Although the technology used in these football boots is dated, it makes up for the quality of materials used. This shoe is known for using 100% premium quality kangaroo leather. Needing little time to break in the pair, comfort is a given for these football boots even from out of the box.
  • With the EVA Die Cut midsole, the pair provides a more natural feel by adapting to the shape of the foot. This allows for support while adding comfort. The football boots also have a synthetic lining.
  • To provide a good mix of grip and maneuverability, Adidas incorporated a 12-stud design into this model.
  • Lastly, the soccer cleats feature a central lacing system to secure it in place and a fold-over leather tongue.

Fit and sizing

The Adidas Copa Mundial runs a full size bigger, so it is recommended to get a size smaller for a better fit. These football boots run in men’s sizes 5 to 13. For women looking to order a pair, it is recommended to go down a size smaller.

Engineered for firm ground, the brand moulded twelve studs into this boot. It features four studs on the outer part of the sole, three studs in the inside and a middle one for support. All of the studs are of the same length; although the ones in the heel area are a bit larger which are designed for a better experience.

The Adidas Copa Mundial FG also features a dual-density outsole for a more cushioned experience.

The shoe features a full kangaroo leather upper that is considered as premium quality. The natural leather covers the forefoot, the midfoot and the heel area to give a uniform feel when wearing the shoe. Additionally, the natural leather provides an incredible fit and touch when striking the ball and ensures durability.
