In celebration of the 70 years of success for the Adidas brand, the Three Stripes has created the Adidas Copa 70 Year shoes. The model carries all the essential elements that the line is known for.

Going for an inside-out retro aesthetic, the upper of the pair is constructed with Primeknit. This one-piece upper brings a lightweight and breathable feel for wearers. A central lacing system lumped with the tongue aids in fit customization. A soft leather material is also integrated into the heel area to reinforce comfort. A bold Three Stripes logo, as a staple for any Copa model, is also evident in this model.

For cushioning, an EVA foam midsole reinforces the shoe’s soft feel while delivering impact absorption.

For traction and grip, a non-abrasive rubber-based outsole is used.

The Adidas Copa 70 Year Shoes deliver a comfortable fit brought about by its Primeknit upper. The material is designed to be lightweight as it wraps around the wearer’s foot. A central lacing system is part of the shoe’s construction to allow for fit personalization.

Taking notes from the original model and turning it inside out, the upper of the Adidas Copa 70 Year shoe is constructed with a Primeknit. It is a knitted upper made into a singular piece from thermoplastic fuse yarns. The resulting element delivers a flexible yet stable and supportive sensation for its wearers. In addition to this, soft leather lines the heel of the model. A central lacing system lumped together with the tongue aids fit customization.

Staying true to its retro vibe, a classic Bluebird label has been stitched into the upper tongue area. An embossed ‘70’ graphic is also found on the inside of the tongue area. Additionally, the bold, iconic Three Stripes logo has not been forgotten.

An EVA midsole is used for the boot’s cushioning. The material is a common feature in footwear for its shock absorption qualities and its soft feel.

A non-marking abrasion-resistant rubber outsole has been incorporated into this model. The area features a wavy pattern designed to bring traction and grip on a variety of surfaces.

The Adidas Copa 70 Year shoe is available in the Cloud White/ Core Black/ Red colorway.

  • A firm ground version of this model has been made available by the Three Stripes.
