Updates to Adidas Boost Heather

  • The Adidas Boost Heather like the popular Adidas Duramo 9 is a cool-looking running shoe that’s great for performance or casual purposes. It gives the wearer a fast and smooth ride that’s reliable and consistent. It even adapts to the way the foot lands on the ground in order to deliver consistent underfoot support, especially during heel striking.
  • The upper unit uses high quality textiles in order to provide a secure and durable coverage that’s long lasting. Minimal stitching is applied to this shoe and a Heathered Print gives a unique and appealing look. The padded collar and tongue keeps the foot in place while also adding more comfort to the skin of the wearer.
  • The mid-sole unit of this neutral running shoe uses some of the most efficient technologies that are available for Adidas shoes. The platform gives the wearer energy from the impact forces in order to make each step more charged and more efficient. A unit in the heel adapts to the foot’s movements, as well as ground contact, thus ensuring that the foot stays supported, even when striking on the ground.
  • The outsole unit uses a high quality rubber technology in order to provide sure protection against the abrasive forces that are found on the roads. Not only does it give traction over dry surfaces, it holds onto wet & slippery ones, as well. The outsole affords reliable surface control to the runner.

Adidas Boost Heather size and fit

The Adidas Boost Heather has a standard running shoe length. The men and women’s versions follow the regular measurements when it comes to size. The available width is medium, so it allows runners with medium sized feet to acclimate well to it when wearing it. Its semi-curved shape also welcomes the natural curvature of the human foot.

Outsole

Continental™ Rubber is one of the strongest and most efficient outsole compounds on the market. It’s made to bring protection to the rest of the sole unit, especially when it comes to wear and tear. It doesn’t peel off easily, as well. It is able to grip dry and wet surfaces, giving dependable control of the roads when running.

Midsole

The mid-sole unit of the Adidas Boost Heather uses the boost™ technology, a unit that came from the compaction of hundreds of TPU pellets. After being made into a foam material, it delivers responsive cushioning and springiness to each step. It even returns energy to the foot, essentially keeping the runner engaged through long-term running activities.

The FORMOTION® technology is a separate unit in the rear of the shoe that adapts to the ground during running. When pressure is applied to it, it moves to keep the foot cushioned. When pressure is removed, it then returns back to its previous state.

The TORSION® SYSTEM gives structure to the mid-foot. It supports the arch and leads the foot towards a smoother and more agreeable transition through the gait cycle.

Upper

High quality textiles are used for the upper unit of the Adidas Boost Heather. These materials are lightweight and comfortable, and they support the foot well. They aren’t stiff, so the natural movement of the foot is definitely encouraged.

A heather print covers most of the upper. It gives a unique look to the shoe and it even feels soft. It adds to the overall appeal and identity of this model.

A reinforced toe makes sure that the foot is protected from any unwanted contact with debris or surfaces. It’s a helpful way to improve the confidence of the wearer, even when tackling long-term races and trainings in the gym.

heel cage locks the rear of the foot in place and prevents any accidental shoe removal.
