- The shoe features several interesting technologies. The BOUNCE™, as the name suggests, is a lightweight foam unit that’s meant to add a bit of ‘bounce’ to every step. This cushioning technology is not only durable, but it also provides increased responsiveness to the runners.
- The seamless FORGEDMESH upper feels silken against the skin. On the outside, the fabric adapts to the movements of the foot during the running session while staying snug at the same time. Also, the material, being very durable in nature, stays robust for a long period of time.
- The shoe also has the inner stretch bootie construction established for improving the fit of the midfoot and collar even further. It also uses a Molded EVA Clip in the heel for added support and responsible lockdown.
Women’s specific Adidas AlphaBounce Lux Shoes comes in the standard length for neutral runners. The available width is medium - B and it’s specifically made to accommodate women.
The shoe utilizes the technology of ADIWEAR™ on its outsole; Adidas claims that this rubber is impressively resistant to abrasion and does not wear off even at high strain values. It ensures a firm grip on both dry and wet surfaces and keeps the sole’s foam unit in nice working condition for a long period of time. The ADIWEAR™ promotes an easy and comfortable experience on all types of road conditions. Another Adidas running shoe, the Duramo 9, also features this outsole material.
In its midsole, the Adidas Alphabounce Lux uses the BOUNCE™ technology which contributes to the shoe’s cushioning system. The material is soft, durable and lightweight. It also has a high energy return and is therefore responsible for the shoe’s excellent responsive behavior.
The shoe uses a seamless engineered mesh on the upper which ensures a seam-free feel inside the shoe and a durable smooth surface on its outside. The material, known as the FORGEDMESH, follows the natural shape of the foot and gives a snug yet agreeable coverage.
A molded EVA heel clip holds the rear of the foot in place and prevents it from wobbling while inside the shoe. It also averts the occurrence of accidental shoe-removals.
The stretchable bootie design makes it easier for the foot to stay secure and hugged by the mesh and the fabrics.
A traditional shoe-tongue isn’t used here, but the security and conformity of the upper still go nicely with the wearer’s foot.
