The Adidas Afterburner 6 baseball cleat generally offers light comfort. The shoe has a textile upper with a TPU toe cap. The cap element adds to the metal baseball cleat’s durability as it reinforces a high-abrasion area. A wide lacing system adds to the shoe’s stability while acting as a fit customization tool. It also aids foot lockdown.

The outsole of the sixth version of the Adidas Afterburner makes use of Sprintframe technology and Sprintstuds. There are a total of seven metal studs placed in the plate– five in the forefoot and two in the heel area.

The Adidas Afterburner 6 baseball cleat has a wide central lacing system. While the element locks the foot down, it also affords the player to customize the fit. Elastic bands are stitched at the tongue’s sides to keep in place and provide a more stable feel for the wearer.

The upper of  Nike cleat is created from a textile material. Designed to mimic a sock-like feel, the upper delivers a seamless fit as it comfortably wraps around the player’s foot. With its low top design, the pair affords the player more room for movement.

A Litestrike EVA is featured in this cleat’s midsole. This foam-based technology has been developed to deliver lightweight cushioning without sacrificing comfort. Additionally, this type of midsole gets rid of the packed-in feel or the tendency to develop into a hard slab over time.

A Sprintframe outsole featuring Sprintstuds is used in this pair’s construction. Featuring a combination of metal and smaller bladed studs, the configuration is aimed to deliver  360-degree traction and grip in the diamond. The forefoot carries a total of five metal studs while the heel area holds two.

The Adidas Afterburner 6 is available in a couple of colorways including Cloud White/ Gold Metallic/ Cloud White and Core Black/ Gold Metallic/ Cloud  White.
