- The Adidas Adizero Feather Boost is a lightweight running shoe that’s created to bring natural performance that’s not restricted in any way because of its comfortable construction and responsive design. The durable components and materials used in this shoe make sure that it can function well even when it comes to long-distance races.
- The upper unit of the Adizero Feather Boost uses woven textiles to provide a well-ventilated wearing experience to the runner. Air is constantly introduced to the interior, keeping the foot and the shoe dry. The sock liner was even molded to have an anatomical fit that follows the underfoot contours, giving exact support where it’s needed.
- The mid-sole unit features a minimalist design that’s still efficient in delivering sure underfoot cushioning to the wearer. A high-quality full-length foam keeps the foot comfortable, while the boost™ technology in the forefoot affords some springiness to the forefoot lift and even gives energy to the runner for a smoother and more enabled step.
- The outsole layer is able to hold onto the ground well. An abrasion-resistant compound covers the sole unit and gives reliable traction on the surfaces. It doesn’t wear off easily, so it does its purpose well, even after many uses and after lengthy running activities.
The Adidas Adizero Feather Boost has a standard running shoe length. The sizes that are available for this model follow the regular measurements for the men and women’s versions. The width of this running shoe is medium, so it welcomes those who have medium sized feet. Its semi-curved shape allows the foot to fit naturally when wearing it.
The ADIWEAR™ outsole unit offers the runner superb protection from wear and tear. It’s durable and it doesn’t peel off easily. It is also able to hold onto the surface well because the rubber material used here is capable of delivering sure traction. The ADIWEAR™ feature is also present in another Adidas running shoe, which is the Duramo 9.
A full-length EVA foam makes up the mid-sole unit of the Adidas Adizero Feather Boost. It follows a minimal design, so it’s not too thick and it doesn’t have a heavy nature. It helps in reducing the pressure that the underfoot experiences because it’s soft and responsive.
The boost™ technology uses hundreds of super springy thermoplastic polyurethane compound that’s compacted together to make a bouncy unit. Placed in the forefoot section, it propels the foot upward during the toe-off phase, making the performance faster and more efficient.
The TORSION® SYSTEM is a mid-foot support unit that gives mild support to the arch. It also maintains the structural integrity of the sole unit.
The woven textiles that are used for the upper unit of the Adizero Feather Boost resemble very soft cloths used for clothing. It has a sturdy construction, but it allows air to seamlessly enter the shoe to keep the foot cool and dry.
A non-slip lining makes sure that the foot stays in the shoe and prevents accidental shoe removal. It’s comfortable to the skin, so it doesn’t cause blisters or welts.
A molded EVA sock liner has an anatomical fit that follows the natural contours of the underfoot. It supports the heel, arch and forefoot sections, and even gives additional cushioning.
