Adidas Adiease Premiere History
During the late 1980s, the Adidas Skateboarding was created to serve skateboarders. This project typically re-engineers profiles from the excellent library of Adidas shoes to create a shoe fit for skateboarding needs. To further improve the line, the Three Stripes collaborates with many world-class Thrashers such as Dennis Busenitz, Mark Gonzalez, Lucas Puig and Mark Suciu.
Adidas released the Adiease as an addition to their SB line. It was inspired by a classic indoor soccer sneaker and reconstructed to create a durable pair suitable for skateboarding. To date, the brand was able to release a number of variations and collaborations.
The Adiease Premiere was released early in 2016. It aesthetically looks like the original Adiease but with the AdiTUFF on the toebox which provides additional reinforcement, making it more sturdy for tricks and flips and jumps.
Adidas Adiease Premiere Style
The Adidas Adiease Premiere boasts its stylishly simple, versatile and retro profile. It is made with a low-top lightly padded collar and tongue to maximize the range of motion and to provide just enough support and protection to the wearers. It also showcases a classic design that will surely make some retro heads celebrate. It comes in various colorways fitting for skateboarding or any laidback activities. Most wearers don this kick with baggy pants, shorts, joggers and even active wear.
Fit & Sizing
The Adidas Adiease Premiere is available in men’s sizes from 5 10 13 US. This pair generally runs true to size. Although this pair comes in medium width, some buyers find this shoe narrower than the usual Adiease. As a result, this shoe is a suitable kick for wearers with slender feet.
Aside from the classic look of the Adiease Premiere that made a lot of retro heads rejoice, one thing that made this pair noteworthy is the cool tongue. It has a lightly cushioned tongue that is wider than the usual shoe. Many liked the unusual shape as it adds flair and at the same time improves the protection to the forefoot of the wearer.
- The AdiTUFF is a rubber underlay located at the vamp to improve the durability and abrasion resistance of the Adidas Adiease Premiere, thus lengthening the lifespan of the shoe.
- It has a removable molded PU sockliner for added comfort and protection.
- It also has the vulcanized outsole that contributes to the lightness, flexibility and quick break-in period. The vulcanized outsole is mostly preferred by skaters as it delivers excellent board feel and reduces weight and bulk.
