The Adicross PPF is one of the latest additions to the Adicross family. Non-traditional from its looks and its construction, this spikeless golf footwear doesn’t scrimp on features that would help the wearer keep his head in the game.
Non-marking Adiwear. Taking notes from tennis shoes, the Adicross PPF adopts the Adiwear outsole. This technology is composed of an ultimately durable non-marking rubber that provides a combination of traction and flexibility. Essentially, it helps the golfer reduce wear in the heel and toe areas.
Nothing purer than Puremotion. In combination with Adiwear, the Adicross PPF sports a Puremotion spikeless outsole with 169 lugs to supply the grip needed on different surfaces, from walking on the greens to lunching at the club.
Feel the Bounce. The midsole of this performance footwear is equipped with a flexible Bounce Foam, a technology that is dubbed as the firmer version of Boost. Based on its name, users can initially feel the bounciness without compromising ground feel and impact protection.
Light as a Cloud. The lightweight Cloudfoam sockliner injected into the shoe ensures that the first thing that touches the foot is plain comfort sans weighing the foot down.
Mix it up. The use of different materials, specifically leather, microfiber, and textile, on the upper, makes the Adicross PPF ideal footwear during summer. Each material also hugs the foot and prevent it from sliding as it rotates during a swing. The shoe also sports a lace-up closure which works in tandem in reinforcing an adjustable fit.
Water-resistant protection. Despite being breathable, it is water-resistant because of Climastorm, which gives protection for light moisture and morning dew.
Along with the development of spikeless golf shoes comes the modernization of designs. Though we are not completely saying goodbye to the traditionally styled pairs, brands like Adidas introduce sporty-looking silhouettes that are versatile enough to be worn on the course to the clubhouse, even for after-game drinks. Its spikeless design makes it possible for this shoe to be included into the everyday shoe rotation.
- The Adidas Adicross PPF was released on February 1, 2019, along with Adidas Crossknit 3.0. The two shoes share a spikeless construction with Puremotion lugs. However, the Crossknit model is based on a Boost midsole.
