Updates to GT 3000 3

The Asics GT-3000 3 comes with several notable updates which include the use of the Guidance Trusstic System in its sole instead of using the Space Trusstic System present in other versions. This system provides the torsion control and flexibility. As a result, this shoe is more efficient and enjoyable to wear.

Another update is the use of the Dynamic DuoMax Technology, which is the post placed in the sole in colored specs matching the rubber. Its purpose is to provide a post for support at less the weight.

The Heel Clutch System is new in this shoe. It provides not just a better heel fit, but an improved support as well. As a result, this shoe is perfect for mid-foot strikers who need the stability, support, and cushioning for gait cycle.

The upper is also updated with open mesh material. This new design helps reduce friction while keeping the shoe comfortable to wear. The mesh is light in weight, breathable, and stylish. The Discrete Eyestay lacing system is also noted as an update and the Bunion Window design is a wise move, especially for runners with bunions.

GT 3000 3 size and fit

The Asics GT-3000 3 is available in standard length and width. The toe box, the mid-foot area, and the heel box are wide enough to accommodate medium measurements and those with slightly wide foot shape. The upper design and the overlays are both complementing the great fit of this shoe.

Outsole

The outsole of the Asics GT-3000 3 is made from the Asics exclusive AHAR+ which is actually lighter and thinner than the common AHAR. Areas that are prone to ground contact are designed to have this rubber compound to reduce excessive high wear.

The Vertical Flex Grooves are also placed in its outsole. As a result this shoe is more efficient in gait cycle.

Midsole

The midsole of this shoe are constructed with the Asics Rearfoot and Forefoot Gel Cushioning System. It is the system that attenuates shock and impact during foot strike and toe-off. It also provides assistance to smooth foot transition.

The Solyte Midsole material is also present in the midsole. This is a lightweight foam midsole compound that offers enhanced durability and cushioning. FluidRide Technology is also a part of its midsole. It allows the shoe to bounce back and forth along the stride. The ComforDry Sockliner provides the soft cushioning and this material has an anti-microbial property.

The Dynamic DuoMax system is also used in its midsole which enhance the stability and support with its post. Working along with it are the Impact Guidance System or IGS and the Guidance Trusstic
System. With all these in the midsole construction, efficiency, responsiveness, support, protection, and comfort are all provided.

Upper

The upper of the Asics GT 3000 3 is constructed with the open mesh material combined with overlays placed strategically to solve bunion problems. This is called the Bunion Windows design for overlays. The lacing system is also designed with the Discrete Eyestay lacing for security.

California Slip Lasting is also attached directly to the canvas for added comfort and for stability. There is the Clutch Counter in the heel area to improve and enhance the support and stability.
